Hume Social Enterprise Network (HSEN) is a network run by and for social enterprises and their champions to connect, support, and promote social enterprises across the twelve LGAs of Victoria's Hume Region.
As well as offering a local social enterprise community for those in Goulburn and Northeast Victoria, we’re also one of five Social Enterprise Network Victoria (SENVIC) regional leads, making us part of a greater ‘network of networks’ amplifying the voice and influence of the social enterprise community across Victoria and throughout Australia.

What we do
In a series of events held in 2020 and 2021 we asked existing and prospective social enterprises across the Hume region what they wanted from a network. They told us they wanted a community for local social enterprises that helped connect and support local social enterprise practitioners, and to promote the social enterprise business model.

Connect
We’re here to connect the founders, businesses, community groups, government, funders and other champions that make up the Hume Region social enterprise ecosystem.
We bring people together through online and in-person events and gatherings, tell you about opportunities and events from our partners, and offer connection points such as our LinkedIn and Facebook pages to those working locally to achieve social benefit through business.

Support
Setting up and running a social enterprise can be as tough as it is rewarding, but you are not alone! Whether it's mentoring, a community of practice, or structured learning and development programs, we can help you find the resources you need.

Promote
We'll promote the social enterprise business model, encourage social procurement, and showcase the positive impact social enterprises are having in our local community.
If you are a social enterprise with a great service or product to share, let us know and we’ll do our best to promote you!
