Hear from a panel of emerging, new and established social enterprises from Hume Region - Our Native Garden Nursery, Close Collective Cafe and Pepo Farms.
Be inspired by Rebecca Scott OAM, co-founder, CEO and Chief Innovation Officer at STREAT, and passionate social entrepreneur, who will facilitate an interactive session exploring opportunities for social enterprise tourist trails in regional Victoria.
Gain insights: Ten social entrepreneurs from the Hume region recently joined a field trip to to Melbourne to visit a range of social enterprises that trade to intentionally tackle social problems, improve communities, provide people access to employment and training, or help the environment. Hear what they observed and learnt and ideas for rural areas.
Explore the benefits of social enterprise: Meet other people who are interested in the business model of social enterprise. Discuss if and how social enterprise can contribute to vibrant and thriving regional and rural communities, and consider how social enterprise might be relevant in your own patch.
