Participants talk about their experiences at the Talking Cafe, part of the Connecting Community in Upper Hume Social Prescribing Project.
A new video has recently been released highlighting the experiences of people participating in the Open Door Neighbourhood House Talking Cafe. The Connecting Community Cafe is held at Intermezzo in Wangaratta every Thursday from 10am.
You'll hear how becoming a Table Host has helped Rat get out of the house, and coming along to the Cafe has helped Jeff come out of his shell. Megan talks about how she feels included and Judy shares how much she's enjoyed meeting new people.
Those interviewed include Tanya Grant (Community Connector), Rat and Judy (Talking Cafe hosts), Megan and Jeff (participants).
