Young Cooks come to Beechworth

Quercus Beechworth Neighbourhood House has partnered with the Country Women’s Association to develop a Young Cooks Program.

Quercus Beechworth Neighbourhood House has partnered with the Country Women’s Association to develop a Young Cooks Program.

“We’re thrilled to be working with the local CWA women on this program,” said Quercus Manager, Paivi Watson. “The program is aimed at secondary school-aged young people. Our goal is to assist them in gaining practical kitchen skills which includes food budgeting as well as the fun stuff liking menu planning and cooking!”

The program runs for six weeks, supported by volunteers from Quercus and the CWA.
